TMJ
Temporomandibular disorder is a condition in which there is a malalignment of the temporomandibular joint, the area where the skull (temporal) meets the jaw (mandible). This can occur from macro or micro traumatic events surrounding cartilage, muscles, and ligaments, creating a number of symptoms such as headaches, jaw pain and neck pain. Chiropractic care can provide relief by correcting the malalignment and improve the function of the surrounding structures.
