Dr. David W. Nadler built this practice around a single conviction: masking pain with medication isn’t the same as solving it. Before earning his doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic, he worked on staff at St. Agnes Medical Center as a burn therapist, developing a clinical foundation that went far beyond adjustments. He came to chiropractic care believing that education is the backbone of good practice, and he’s never stopped building on it. As he puts it, “a degree is just the beginning. I continually learn better ways to prevent and support healing, keeping your care on the cutting edge.” That philosophy shapes every patient interaction at this office.

A Career Built on Elite-Level Sports Medicine

Dr. Nadler’s background in professional sports isn’t a minor footnote in his history. It’s something that affects how he approaches every patient and every procedure. He has served as Team Chiropractic Physician for the Philadelphia Soul, three-time Major League Lacrosse Champions the Philadelphia Barrage, the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League, and the Philadelphia Kixx of the Major Indoor Soccer League across 10 seasons. He served as the official team chiropractor for the Philadelphia Freedoms of World Team Tennis, and during the 2001 X-Games he worked as a Sports Medicine Staff Chiropractic Physician.

His credentials go beyond regional professional sports. Dr. Nadler was selected as one of the doctors for the 2003 Women’s World Cup of Soccer and served as Team Chiropractic Physician for the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team during the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He has also treated athletes competing in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS. What that level of experience means for patients here is straightforward: the same clinical thinking used for professional athletes is applied to every treatment plan, whether or not you play a sport.

Credentials That Are Genuinely Rare

Dr. Nadler holds post-doctoral training in chiropractic neurology from Cleveland Chiropractic College, board certification through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and his Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician designation from the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians. His physical therapy background, an A.S. and L.P.T.A. from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, gives him a cross-disciplinary foundation that most chiropractic offices simply don’t have.

• Certified Shockwave Physician. Dr. Nadler is certified by the International Society for Medical Shockwave Treatment, a designation held by a small percentage of doctors internationally. He has performed more radial and focused shockwave therapy procedures than any provider in the Philadelphia region, with over 15 years of certified practice.
• Center of Excellence. This facility has been recognized as a Center of Excellence for chiropractic care and shockwave therapy in the Delaware Valley, a designation tied directly to the volume and quality of procedures performed here.
• Licensing in Two States. Dr. Nadler holds active chiropractic physician licenses in both Pennsylvania and Delaware.
• Active Professional Memberships. He’s a current member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Massage Therapy Association, and the International Society for Medical Shockwave Treatment.
• The FBI Citizens Academy. Dr. Nadler completed the FBI Citizens Academy, Philadelphia division, in 2015.
